Exchange Policy

NOT QUITE WHAT YOU HAD IN MIND?


We will gladly provide an exchange, refund or store credit for purchases made from Canada on www.oakandfort.ca. Please note refunds are only available for online purchases returned by mail to Oak+Fort: #100-3 East 6th Avenue Vancouver, BC V5T 1J3. Purchases made in our retail locations are eligible for exchange or store credit only. OAK+FORT does not offer exchanges for any purchases made outside of Canada or the U.S.


JEWELRY, BAGS, SHOES, UNDERWEAR (BODYSUITS, INTIMATES), SWIMWEAR, ACCESSORIES (HEADWEAR, HOMEWEAR AND GIFT CARDS) AND SALE ITEMS (INCLUDING ITEMS PURCHASED DURING PROMOTIONAL EVENTS) ARE FINAL SALE. Please note that OAK + FORT does not issue any price adjustments.


If you wish to receive a credit rather than an item exchange or refund, the credit note will be valid for a future online order. Online orders can be brought to any OAK + FORT location within the country of issuance for exchange or credit.


If you wish to do an Online exchange for another product, size or colour rather than receive a store credit, you must contact us via email at customercare@oakandfort.com. We will have to check if the requested item is “In Stock” and we will reserve it for you. Once we’ve received your returned item into the office, an additional shipping charge will be required to send the new item out. Online orders can also be returned at any OAK + FORT location within the country of issuance for exchange or credit.


Please see the step-by-step instructional form included within your package for full details. Return shipping costs for all orders returned are the responsibility of the customer.


Please ensure returned clothing is packaged properly, we will not accept damaged items. Upon receipt of any merchandise, OAK + FORT has the right to deny returns of any items that do not meet our return policy standards.



TO QUALIFY FOR EXCHANGE/REFUND/CREDIT ITEM(S) MUST BE:

01 IN ORIGINAL CONDITION:

Merchandise must be regular price, unworn, unaltered, and with the tags still attached. Receipt/Proof of purchase is also required.

 

Please note that FLASH SALES result in a discounted price for items. Therefore they are not eligible for an exchange or credit in-store or online.

02 WITHIN THE EXCHANGE/REFUND PERIOD:

All items purchased in-stores are exchangeable up to 14 days after purchase

All online exchanges/refunds must be within 14 days from the date you’ve received your merchandise (according to the tracking number.)

03 APPROVED BY CUSTOMER CARE:

Online exchanges/refunds must be approved by our customer care team. Please address all return inquiries to customercare@oakandfort.com within the exchange/return period of 14 days. In your e-mail please provide; your order number, the original purchaser’s full name, reason for exchange/refund/credit, and the item(s) you wish to exchange/return/credit.

 

*If a customer fails to contact customer care before shipping their items, Oak and Fort Corp. reserves the right to deny said package(s). Customers who send back merchandise not approved by customer care are required to pay for the shipping cost associated with having the merchandise sent back to them.

*Customers are required to cover shipping costs for any exchanges/refunds/credits.


When the product has been shipped back & received at oakandfort.ca’s office, a store credit code for the Online store will be issued to you via email. Head back to our Online store, and start shopping! Apply your store credit at check out to your new order.


If you had requested an exchange for another item, you will be emailed a link to pay to have it shipped back out to you.


If you are returning an item your refund will be credited, excluding the shipping fees, to the original method of payment. Please allow1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.



OR VISIT A CANADIAN OAK + FORT LOCATION:

Bring your receipt and the item(s) you wish to exchange—or receive credit for—to the Canadian OAK + FORT location of your choice. Please note refunds are only available for online purchases returned by mail, and cannot be processed in store.


Once your exchange has been approved at the Canadian location, a store credit card will be given to you. Our store-credit never expires and the cards can be used at any Canadian OAK + FORT location at anytime.


*Store credit can only be honoured if you have your store credit card. Please treat your card like cash. OAK + FORT will not replace any lost/stolen store credit cards.


Store credit is not valid for use on www.oakandfort.ca and Online credit is not valid for use at Canadian locations.



ONLINE PURCHASES BY INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: EXCHANGE POLICY

Starting May 1, 2017, OAK + FORT will no longer offer exchanges or store credit on any international orders (non-Canadian/American). For additional information please contact us at customercare@oakandfort.com.
